GLENMORE TRAIL
Weather dependent, work to remove an inactive underground utility adjacent to Deerfoot Trail will begin the week of December 1, 2025. While work is primarily occurring within the highway right-of-way, adjacent businesses may experience minor impacts as outlined below.
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
DAYTIME WORK
This work must be completed during daylight hours and will take place between 7 am and 5 pm.
TIMELINES
Utility removal activities, including temporary fence installation, will begin the week of December 1, 2025. Weather dependent, this work is anticipated to take approximately three weeks.
VIBRATION AND NOISE
Adjacent businesses may notice intermittent vibrations during excavation or removal activities. Noise associated with the operation of heavy construction equipment, earthworks, and removal activities may be noticed while work is ongoing.
PROPERTY ACCESS AND FENCING INSTALLATION
This work will require installation of a temporary fence along the east property line adjacent to Deerfoot Trail (see map below). While the majority of work will occur from within the highway right-of-way, adjacent properties may experience intermittent impacts while fencing is installed and work proceeds.
