How has Deerfoot Trail been improved in this area?

  • Capacity was increased and traffic flow improved by connecting 11 Street NE to westbound Beddington Trail NW and northbound Deerfoot Trail.
  • Capacity was increased on Deerfoot Trail by adding a fourth continuous lane in each direction from Beddington Trail NW to Airport Trail NE.
  • A new storm pond was be constructed to the east of Deerfoot Trail.
