A temporary lane realignment will be implemented on Glenmore Trail during the week of March 7, 2026 to facilitate essential bridge rehabilitation activities on the southbound Deerfoot Trail bridge.
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
LANE REALIGNMENT
Barriers and other traffic delineators will be installed to clearly mark the realigned lanes and secure the working area for bridge rehabilitation activities.
The same number of lanes will be maintained throughout the work to minimize traffic disruption.
PIER REHABILITATION
The lane realignment is needed to start rehabilitation of the pier (on the north side of Glenmore Trail) for the southbound Deerfoot Trail bridge.
TIMELINES
The lane realignment will be completed in 4 days and last for approximately 6 weeks.
SPEED REDUCTION
Speed reductions will be in place throughout the work zones. Please obey onsite signage and posted speed limits. Motorists are advised to drive with caution when travelling through the work zone.
Please be mindful of and obey onsite signage and traffic accommodations. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete these complex, multi-year improvements.
