NOTICE

The public can expect multiple activities in the project area over the upcoming months and throughout different stages of construction.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

Work is anticipated to take place during daytime hours.

Intermittent lane closures are expected in the coming months to accommodate this work.

Piling activities will continue throughout the summer and fall of 2024.

Residents in the nearby areas may notice increased noise from ongoing piling such as pinging sounds occurring in short bursts during working hours.

Speed reductions and detours will be in effect. For your safety, please obey all construction signs when travelling through the improvement areas.

Please be mindful of and obey onsite signage and traffic accommodations. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete these complex, multi-year improvements.

Land Acknowledgement

Deerfoot Trail is located within Treaty 7, and within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. We respectfully acknowledge the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai Nations; the Stoney-Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley Nations; and the Tsuut’ina Nation.
