CONSTRUCTION

NOTICE

In the coming months, onsite activities will increase as weather permits. Members of the public are reminded that they can expect the following impacts over the course of the 2026 construction season:

Work Hours

Active construction will be ongoing 7 days/week, both during the day and at night. The timing / delivery of specific work items will be scheduled to minimize overall impacts to the public, work around weather constraints, and meet the needs of the contractor.

Traffic Impacts

Reduced speed limits continue to be in place and subject to change throughout the work zone.

While work will be completed during off-peak hours where possible, temporary detours will be required to complete some activities safely. The public is reminded to use caution, obey signage onsite signage, and plan for additional travel time when travelling through the area.

Noise

While efforts are made to mitigate noise and reduce public impact where possible, some noise is expected with construction work.

Dust

Dust is a part of construction projects and may increase as work ramps up. Efforts will be made to mitigate dust during construction, such as using water trucks on haul routes.

Shoulder Barrier Installation

As required, barriers will be installed along the shoulder to accommodate work across the project limits. Please be advised that shoulder widths will fluctuate throughout the work zone.

Please be mindful of and obey onsite signage and traffic accommodations. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete these complex, multi-year improvements.
