A new traffic detour is scheduled to be implemented the week of April 24, 2026.
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
DETOUR ON SOUTHLAND OFF-RAMP
A traffic detour involving a lane shift on Deerfoot Trail North and the Southland Drive on-ramp. This detour is needed due to construction work for storm drain installation. The ramp will remain open during this time.
OVERNIGHT WORK
Concrete barriers and traffic pylons will be installed overnight before the detour takes effect.
TIMELINES
This temporary relocation will last approximately a year while construction on the interchange continues.
