SOUTHLAND DRIVE
A new traffic detour is scheduled to be implemented on the week of March 22, 2026. This detour is the start of several changes what will be implemented over the course of the coming weeks as construction advances at this interchange. Further details will be shared as information becomes available.
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
DETOUR ON SOUTHLAND OFF-RAMP
A traffic detour involving a lane shift on the Southland off-ramp to Deerfoot Trail North will be implemented to support construction activities in this area. The ramp will remain open during this time.
OVERNIGHT WORK
Concrete barriers and traffic pylons will be installed overnight before the detour takes effect.
TIMELINES
The detour is expected to last approximately three weeks.
SPEED REDUCTION
