Improvements at Anderson Road & Bow Bottom Trail and Mainline Deerfoot Trail will include:

  • Improved safety and traffic flow by eliminating weaving traffic between Southland Drive and Anderson Road / Bow Bottom Trail
  • Reconfigured exit ramp from northbound Deerfoot Trail to Anderson Road / Bow Bottom Trail to improve capacity and safety
  • Increased capacity by adding a third continuous lane in each direction and increased capacity on ramps with high traffic volumes

Who is responsible for maintaining Deerfoot Trail during construction?

Carmacks Enterprises  is the highway maintenance contractor responsible for the maintenance of Deerfoot Trail. The contractor working on improvements being made to 64 Avenue NE will coordinate with Carmacks Enterprises to ensure that this area is adequately maintained.
